3rd and Lindsley — Nashville, TN

  • Address: 818 3rd Ave. S, Nashville, TN 37210
  • Additional Info: PALMYRA: Established in Virginias Shenandoah Valley, Palmyra explores the fusion of traditional folk string instruments, lush harmony, and earnest songwriting. The trio, now based in Richmond, captures the collective spirit of three Virginia natives: Teddy Chipouras, Mānoa Bell, and Sasha Landon. Often described as a distant cousin to The Avett Brothers and The Wood Brothers, Palmyra nods toward Appalachian and Midwestern Americana, with intricate arrangements that create the illusion of a full, larger-than-three ensemble. The breakout folk trio has worked diligently to cement themselves as an unmistakable force in the Americana music landscape at large. Their forward momentum is propelled by their craftsmanship and dedication to an intimate performance experience; at the heart of the Palmyra is the evident love and regard that the three musicians share for each other and their craft.Palmyra has directly supported Watchhouse, Mipso, and Illiterate Light, and has won honors and recognition from institutions including the historic Newport Folk Festival, American Songwriter, The Boston Globe, Under The Radar Magazine, Americanafest, and NPR, who named the band one of Public Radios Favorite New Artist(s) of 2024. Their debut full-length album will be released via Oh Boy Records in March 2025.BEAN.BEAN. is a four-piece music collective emerging from Nashvilles indie scene. Driven by a mutual dedication to genre-bending, sonic exploration, and emotional depth, their intricate, self-produced arrangements blend raw energy with cinematic textures reminiscent of a coming-of-age film. Their unpredictable, deeply human sound has carved out a distinct space in the music landscape with every immersive, genre-blurring release.BEAN.s latest track, GIN MONK, is their most explosive and uninhibited release yet, built on a 90s hip-hop beat, funk-driven basslines, and jagged guitars. It was featured on four Apple Music Editorial Playlists, those being Smooth , New in R, New Music Daily, and Day One. Their previous single, Happenings, leans into cinematic nostalgia, exploring the pain and release of cutting ties with toxic family dynamics, while Lullaby offers a haunting, late-night reflection on the quiet ache of moving on from lost love. Across each track, BEAN. blends emotional honesty with sonic exploration, bringing their storytelling to life through vulnerable lyricism and raw black-and-white visuals. Recently named WNXPs May Nashville Artist of the Month, the collective continues to push one another creatively into uncharted territory, carving out their own space in the citys evolving music scene.
